A new, free vaccine is now available in Australia to protect you from the H1N1 influenza strain ('swine flu').  The Department of Health and Ageing is recommending that those people who have underlying illnesses, such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes, should be vaccinated immediately.  Everyone should consider being vaccinated though to protect both yourself and the wider community.

Vaccinations will be available from your local GP, health centres and hospitals.  For more information and details on locations in your state, click on the link below.
